About me
I am a PhD student in the Computing Science department at the University of Alberta (UofA), supervised by Marlos C. Machado. I completed my Master’s at the University of Alberta, where I was co-supervised by Matt Taylor and Marlos. Prior to that, I completed my bachelor’s at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and worked as an AI Researcher at Honda R&D in Japan.
My research focuses on the planning aspects of Laplacian Representations. Inspired by Marlos, I believe that Laplacian Representations hold the key to solving many open problems in reinforcement learning. In general, I am passionate about: (Deep) Reinforcement Learning, Representation Learning, Continual Learning, Autonomous Driving, and Robotics.
When I am not doing research, I am usually playing soccer or badminton, or out bouldering — sports are my way of switching off.
